FAQ
Where can I find a Bam case and at what price?
As Bam is a manufacturer only, we do not sell cases directly to musicians. We therefore invite you to contact a music store to obtain information on our prices and/or to place an order. We advise you to contact your usual supplier of accessories and maintenance for your instrument: if you subsequently need after-sales service, this will be easier, since ideally it’s provided by the store that sold you the case. Even if your supplier is not yet a Bam customer, he will be able to order the case you want from us, with no minimum order quantity.
We only sell end-of-series products and accessories directly on our website.

Which stores have cases in stock ?
It’s difficult for us to know what our customer stores have in stock.
If you can’t find the case you’re looking for in your usual store, don’t hesitate to ask them to order it from us.
Do you make custom cases?
As we work from molds, we are unfortunately unable to make custom cases; mold making requires mass production and regular output.
Is it safe to put my case in the hold of the plane?
All our cases are designed to provide maximum security for instruments in everyday use. Nevertheless, none of them can be considered as a case for transport in the luggage hold (except for the Aircraft Case), this being a completely different and much riskier use*. If you were to encounter this kind of problem, the airline would have to take responsibility for any damage, but as far as we’re concerned, your case would be considered damaged in an accident (which is not covered by our warranty). If you use your case for air transport, you’ll need to protect it (with several layers of bubble-wrap, for example, or an airline carry-case) before placing it in the fragile luggage section of the hold.
Our warranty does not apply to damage caused in such circumstances. If you were to encounter this kind of problem, the airline would have to bear responsibility for any damage, but as far as we’re concerned, your case would be considered damaged in an accident.
How can I change the code on my combination lock?
Combination lock – Left and Right
The combination lock is delivered with the factory code “0-0-0”.
To set your personal code:
- First, open the lock.
- Hold the latch in the open position, so that the metal tongue inside the locking mechanism points downwards.
- Turn the knobs to display the new code.
- Release the latch to confirm the new combination.
- You can now close the lock.
- Turn the knobs to lock the lock.
Important notes
- Make sure you remember your new code.
- You can change your code as often as you like by repeating the above procedure step by step.
- CAUTION: Be careful! It’s easy to inadvertently turn one of the knobs while the lock is in the open position, creating a new combination that you haven’t chosen, without realizing it. Your Bam case will then be locked, and you’ll have to find the active combination at random…
Do you offer after-sales service ?
For all after-sales service operations such as case repair, we invite you to contact the luthier or store that sold you the case.
He will be able to diagnose the problem and decide whether it is necessary to send the case back to our workshop, or whether he can simply order the spare parts and tools needed to carry out the repair himself.

How do I put my wedges in my adjustable electric guitar case?
1. Place the neck of your guitar in the center of the case. The body of the guitar should be placed against the cushion on the right and the cushion on the bottom.
How can I take care of my case ?
For the inside of the case
To remove everyday dust, you can vacuum the inside of your case using the lowest level of your vacuum cleaner and the brush attachment.
For stains, simply rub the fabric in a circular motion with a slightly damp cloth. ATTENTION to stain removers: let your case dry for several hours in the open position, to avoid leaving residues on the fabric that could damage your instrument.
For the outside of the case
If you have a rigid case (with an ABS or polycarbonate shell), you can use a microfiber cloth and glass cleaner to remove marks.
For scratches, you can use a little body varnish.
Locks need regular lubrication to prevent premature aging and breakage.
ATTENTION to heat sources: our cases are thermoformed, i.e. we use high temperatures to give them their shape. Leaving them in a car in direct sunlight, near a heater or a light bulb is likely to deform or even melt your case.
For cases with a leather top shell, you can use baby cleansing milk and chamois leather.
To reduce or remove marks on a padded case, a cloth lightly soaked in soapy water is all you need to clean it.
